Biography

 

Born in Montreal and established in Magog since May 2000, Manon Potvin began her artistic career in 1992. It is a surrealist style that imposed itself on her from her first painting. With both feet on the ground and her head in the clouds, she paints.

"Imagination, inspiration and intuition gently guide me towards a better understanding of Life. It is these bits of understanding and this overflow of wonder that I express through my painting and my writing"

 

TRAINING

 

Her training is not a conventional one. She acquired it without a career plan through encounters and experiences.

Her main and continuing training focuses on the use of thought and the subconscious faculties through Concept Image This seminars.

The painting sessions followed with the surrealist painter Jean Pierre Neveu were striking and decisive for her.
